A possible solution to the many plots and few stories "problem"

Done

My idea is based on a potential rework of the daily challenge system. It includes the previous suggestion about the lowering the skip count. Perhaps to increase the number of active stories the system can be implemented like this. One plot that you're supposed to finish stays, one plot that is your own too, one story you've already contributed to and one random story that you have to contribute to. That is my idea, now for a clearer explanation.

I think that three plots plus your own creates a congestion, people are not required to contribute to a story, thus the lack of them. So now if my suggestion is implemented you would be required to write at least 500 words in your own story and as a contribution to someone else's story. From optional to required. Yes I understand that it does make things harder but people who use Half Quill for its intended purpose won't have any problems. I think this is possible, but I would love to hear the opinions of others and other possible solutions.

I like it! What if we take it even further. I love reading the plots but I have already heard people say "I would love to write something but then I get the plots exercise again". What if the daily exercise isn't a "lock" to the rest of the app, but the streak will continue if you either add a story section or do the plot exercise? That would still count the "habit" and still reach the goal of the app, but allow a little more flexibility. How does that thought make you feel?

Even better in my opinion. As long as people contribute and actually do their tasks it will become a habit whether it is writing a plot or a story.
